At Buddies, we are committed to providing the highest level of care, which is why we ensure all our staff receive comprehensive training. Although day centres are not required to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we voluntarily follow CQC standards to maintain excellent care practices.

All staff complete mandatory CQC training requirements, including the Care Certificate, covering key areas such as safeguarding, infection control, health and safety, and person-centred care. They also receive specialised dementia training, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to support individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of Dementia.

To ensure we always provide the best support, our team participates in regular refresher courses, staying up to date with best practices and the latest care standards.
